3 reviews of Centro Historico de Canillas de Aceituno

Powerful and immemorial view

La Maroma is at 2065 meters altitude. It's a granite mass that presides over an ancient totem, a powerful and immemorial view of the Axarquia. An impressive, ethereal vision and solid, with its top peeled and toothless, like a plain that levitates looking face to face with the Mediterranean. It has strength, mighty weight, altitude and a haughty presence. In its skirts, huddled, tight, immaculate and a snow-white color, Canillas de Aceituno village. A white strip that looks more like a wisp of fog detached from the heights that you then discover is lavishly colorful, full of flowers, flowerbeds, viewpoints, gentle people and strong food (Canilleros soups, wood oven roasted goat and the very famous blood sausage).

A place where the journey is a poem, the food is for the immortal spirit and delicious tradition and pittance to the mortal body.
