Caney

Caney is a wine and tapas bar located in the basement of the Hotel Araguaney in the new part of Santiago de Compostela. Don't worry though, it's only a ten minutes' walk from the old city. It has a very good menu offering Galician food and tapas from the rest of Spain. I recommend the tostas, cheese, ham, or their delicious cakes. It also sells Galician beer and a wide variety of red and white wines from the best Spanish wineries. It's more popular with locals than with tourists, making it a nice choice if you want to see the other side of the city. Just opposite is the Caney restaurant, one of
