Nella splendida cornice dell'Isola di Caprera, isola gemella della Maddalena, di fronte a Palau, si trova questo sentiero che porta fino al mare fra rocce granitiche e fortificazioni. E' possibile raggiungere la fortificazione di Candeo - suggestiva batteria militare antinave, edificata nei primi decenni del novecento, armata dalla Marina nella 2^ guerra mondiale -lasciando l'auto parcheggiata nelle aree di sosta, in prossimità del quadrivio ai piedi della fortificazione di Arbuticci. Il sentiero fatto da pietriccio si inerpica per la montagna e fra tornanti raggiunge il mare. Lo sfondo del paesaggio è di una bellezza selvaggia e senza tempo. Il sentiero è di difficoltà media per circa un'ora e mezza di cammino.
