Canadian Hostel

The Canadian Hostel is a two-minute walk from Tahrir Square. Like most hotels in the area, it offers cheap lodging in downtown Cairo, but is also surrounded by a lot of traffic and noise. They also offer organized tours of the Pyramids and the Nile River valley. The Egyptian Museum and the Tahrir metro station are both close by. The rooms are all air-conditioned and clean and the building is old and has high ceilings. If you stay more than three nights, you get a free airport shuttle. The price include breakfast, optional towels, and wi-fi. Rooms cost $ 10 for a shared, $ 23 double room and 45 for a triple.
