Cuando pasas por la carretera de Martorell encuentras este lugar que siempre está de bote en bote. Hoy por fin hemos podido conseguir mesa (recomendable llamar para reservar).
Ha llegado la época de los calçots y ya no podía con las ganas que tengo de comerme una buena teja de esta deliciosa "cebolleta". Aprovechando que me han regalado una cámara de fotos (indudablemente mejor que la que tenía hasta ahora pero sin ser la que yo quiero), nos hemos ido a dar una vuelta por los alrededores de mi pueblo para saborear los platos caseros y de cocina típicamente catalana que ofrecen aquí, y de paso estrenar la cámara ;)
Con una correcta atención, unos platos muy buenos y una carta de vinos notable para la zona, el Can Vidal se merece la fama que tiene. Por las mañanas paran muchos ciclistas para hacer el almuerzo ya que la persona que inició el negocio fue un afamado ciclista de su época. Ahora al frente del restaurante está su hija Angelina que ha convertido el lugar en un sitio entrañable y casero.
Los calçots? Uhmmmmm con su exquisita salsa romescu. Al final el precio se nos ha disparado (90€), pero también tengo que decir que la soberbia botella de Viñas del Vero del 2005 que hemos elegido ha incrementado el precio final.
When you go through the road of Martorell you find this place that is always chock. Today we have finally been able to get a table (advisable to call to reserve). It has come the time of the spring onions and could not with the desire I have to eat a good tile this "chive" delicious. Taking advantage they gave me a camera (certainly better than it had so far but without being the one I want), we have gone to take a walk around my town to taste the homemade dishes and typically Catalan cuisine they offer here, and incidentally brand new camera;) with proper care, some very good dishes and a remarkable wines for the area, the can Vidal has fame it deserves. In the morning many cyclists stop for lunch as the person who started the business was a famous cyclist of his era. Now the front of the restaurant is his daughter Angelina has turned the place into an intimate and home site. Calçots? Uhmmmmm with its exquisite romesco sauce. At the end the price has shot us (90 €), but I also have to say that the bottle Viñas del Vero pride of 2005 we have chosen has increased the final price.
