Lanterns
On June 21 Calimera, the country Salentine Greek festival celebrating the summer solstice with old native of Cappadocia. The village streets are lit by lanterns of every color and shape, hanging from the wires going from house to house. People working in the streetlights are prepared for months with reeds and tissue paper and shapes of real monuments bright stars, bells, flowers, animals, castles and sailboats. At night there are concerts and flea markets.
