Beautiful and uncrowded
Cala Llop Marí is one of the most dramatic coves on Tabarca in terms of looks, and one of the best to avoid the overcrowding that can happed at the main beach. You can get there by heading along the old city walls from the main beach (towards the left if you're headed from the main beach), and following the walls about 50meters.
It's a series of cliffs overlooking a deep well of emerald green water that's crashing against the rocks and lapping up against several massive caves. There is a small beach down below and a sandy area where you can lay out and go swimming while avoiding the feet-punishing rocks in some of the coves in other parts of the island. It's ideal as well to head down and take a nap in the shade of the cave after a filling lunch at the island's Restaurante Amparin.
