Caffe Maria Restaurant

As Erice is one of the most popular places in Siciliy, its prices tend to overwhelm you. We found this restaurant with a tourist menu for 13 euros so we thought we would give it a try. The menu consisted of an "antipasto", a main course (choice of lasagne, cannelloni or cous cous), and some pastries for dessert. The food was not bad at all, though the presentation of the dishes left much to be desired, so it's a place to get away, fill your stomach a bit without emptying your wallet too much. Despite the okay food, I loved the actual place. It is right on the Erice main street and is a two-story house.
