An excellent cafe
Opened in 1940, this cafe that was once a village shop called Central Can, still belongs to the same family who founded it. It was a place to eat, drink and stay, if necessary , for all the drovers and farmers in the area and its surroundings. In 1960, it was rebuilt which makes this the third generation responsible for maintaining the same original character and good service that characterizes the place. We stopped by one morning and enjoyed some excellent fresh bread with plenty of ham and two cups of coffee. The place is comfortably acclimated with no TV screens, a fireplace and lots of wooden tables and chairs.
The bar provided a good coffee machine and an excellent selection of drinks as well as a nice covered terrace with vines, roses and red geraniums that make the site a place to enjoy the sun (although on that day it was very cold so we didn't use it). They have Wi-Fi service, wheelchair accessible bathrooms, accept Visa, Mastercard and American Express, have heating and air conditioning, parking, and landline.
