La Taverna Del Buongustaio

It's easy to get lost among the madness of the downtown historic streets of Naples. After asking for help, we came to this small street with the plain-looking Taverna del Buongustaio. We had to wait a short time for a free table. The decor is simple, but the atmosphere is jovial and lively. The friendly waiter recited the daily specials, but we could barely remember them. The food was so tasty, though ... pasta and potatoes, smoked cheese, spaghetti with clams, gnocchi, sausages and broccoli, braised octopus, fried fish ... amazing, and for decent prices. Owner woman who prepares the check cheats and caused us to call the police after she SLAPPED THE REWRITTEN BILL ONTO OUR TABLE TO DEMAND PAYMENT. We won the ruling but it is not something we would wish on anyone, so we must warn. After i read reviews i realised we were not the only ones she did this to.
