Worth exploring

Since Petra is worth exploring for a full day, you have to eat there. You can always take a sandwich and have one of the best picnics you'll ever remember. But, if you decide to eat there, there's not much to choose from: There is a buffet, typically found in this country, for 17 dinars (about 20 euros). There is typical Arabian food to fill you to the top. It's not cheap, but it's really good. It's an option.

Il Basin non ci ha deliziato il palato, ma è l'unico ristorante che esiste a Petra, oltre ai vari baracchini beduini che potete trovare in diversi posti. Il pranzo viene servito a buffet, per cui potete prendere quello che più vi piace. Si trova verso la fine del percorso più visitato, dove inizia il sentiero di 850 scalini che porta verso il Monastero. Una pausa dunque è d'obbligo se pensate di iniziare la salita.

The Basin there has been delighting the palate, but it is the only restaurant that exists in Petra, as well as various stalls Bedouins that you can find in several places. Lunch is served buffet style, so you can take what you like. It is situated towards the end of the path most visited, where the path of 850 steps leading to the Monastery. A pause is therefore a must if you plan to start the climb.
