Three-day public transport pass
When we visited Budapest, w bough the three-day public transport pass which included the Budapest Metro, buses, and trams. I think it was worth it because that way I didn't have to go buying tickets one by one or even passing them through the machine...you just had to flash your pass at the subway guard and that was that. Also, the price was more than fair. Plus, Budapest's public transportation system is very intuitive.
