Great 4 star hotel
A great hotel, the best I've ever been to in Italy. The service is really first class, and you don't have to worry about anything. In terms of facilities, it's perfect - everything is very new and clean. The breakfast is a varied continental buffet. If you go by car, they have parking, so you can get right to the door without any problems; when you want to take your car again, you'll need to give 20 minutes notice. The price of the parking is competitive (considering that some public car parks charge € 3 an hour, we went out for about 1 to 1.5 € / h), and the service is great - the car can be a real nuisance in Florence.
The hotel is a monument in itself. The restaurant in the Torre della Pagliazza, with rounded walls, is the only one of its kind if Florence, and is said to be the oldest building in the city that retains its original appearance. The foundations are of Roman origin and it's believed they could be part of a spa. You have everything bearby: the cathedral 100m, the Piazza della Signiora and Galleria Uffizi 200-300m, the Ponte Vecchio 600m. Its coordinates are: 43 ° 46'18 .15 "N, 11 ° 15'21 .40" E
