The Brewers Canal

Il canale dei birrai

Excellent
One of the most beautiful streets of Amsterdam and the whole Jordan district, thanks largely to the buildings (former headquarters of breweries) that face and that have gable roofs and curious imposed colored (red and white in particular). In the sixteenth and seventeenth centuries in which this was called "the Brewers Canal" were processed and stored in different types of goods, such as leather, coffee, whale oil. Qu was also home to the last Dutch gin distillery. Today it is a place not to be missed for a beautiful walk admiring the canal and the beautiful houses that surround it.
