A beach between bridges
Between the Brooklyn Bridge and the Manhattan Bridge, there is a beach in Brooklyn. It's a wonderful place to spend a day in Brooklyn and it's even better if it's a holiday. Taking the subway line A, you cross the East River in ten minutes and you find yourself in Brooklyn. Before, it was all shopping, but now there are houses, shops, bars and very pleasant paths where New Yorkers spend the day. I recommend it, but don't rush to enjoy it. I was fortunate to attend a wedding of a Chinese couple while there. It was quite a spectacle.
