One of the most popular and steep streets
The Rua do Quebra Costas (Rompe Costillas Street) is one of the most popular streets of Coimbra, Portugal. It's located in the historic city center. Going under the Arc de Almedina it's right at Rua Ferreira Borges. It's a steep street, whitewashed, which gradually tapers toward the top by its many stairs. As it ascends the hill it reaches the main city monuments: the Sé Velha, the University, etc. You'll find some bars and typical gift shops along it.
