Broadway

Known worldwide for its theaters, and the best shows, Broadway surprises visitors because it is much more. For starters, it is almost the most important avenue in Manhattan, and it passes right through the center and across the island. It passes Times Square, reaches Soho, then goes down to Wall Street and near Battery Park. It's a street full of lights and sounds, people and traffic. But it's worth a wander, if only once, and it's true that it's overwhelming, but it's amazing and you have to see it.
