Brixton Village

Located on Electric Avenue, Brixton Village was our number one reason to visit this area during our stay in London. You'll find stalls here where you can taste food from all around the world: Chinese, Jamaican, Colombian and Italian cuisine are side by side in a maze of small restaurants where the menus are cheap, and where you don't need to sit down to eat. There are also many vintage or craft stalls selling a variety of products.

This market is south of the city, in the famous district of Brixton. The weekends are crowded but weekdays are a good time to visit. The market has many Jamaican and Caribbean trends. This quarter, the Brixton, is more authentic, less superficial and very interesting.
