Bran

Bran is Dracula's village! The Prince Vlad Tepes castle overlooks the village and makes it all very dramatic. It's a small town, but because the castle is one of the most visited places by tourists outside of Bucharest, there are a few hotels and restaurants along the main road that you can stop off in. If you walk just five miles you can get good accommodation at a fraction of the price, and that's all while staying with a nice family that will cook for you and take care of you. Bran's strong point is that it's the boundary between the Translivania and Valachia. It is now a museum open to the public, you can visit inside.

At the beginning it was a wooden castle built in the thirteenth century by the Teutons. The Saxons built the stone citadel in the nineteenth century. Other than that, Bran is in a beautiful natural setting, you can go walking, skiing in winter, rent a bike ...

Bran

This capital of Transylvania, located an hour's drive from Brasov about, is known primarily for lun of its former inhabitants: the Count Vladimir Tepes says Van lEmpaleur also said Dracula. This notoriety is Bran most touristic city throughout Romania although what is born around its castle, not much dintressant visit.

Very touristic

Très touristique

Excellent
Very touristy, but the outside of the castle represents the only interest of this place. The interior has very little interest.
