A very old church
This small church, over 700 years old, is officially known as the St Mary & Holy Trinity Church, but better known as Bow Church. Over the centuries it's been rebuilt and renovated several times, most recently when part of the tower was destroyed by German bombers in 1941. You can see the reconstructed part because the original bricks were painted white. The church has a Gothic air, not because of the architecture, but rather the back garden which is actually a graveyard with tombstones of ancient stone. There are some wooden benches under the trees. Visits to the interior of Bow Church are allowed
On the first Saturday of each month from 11am to 16h.
