Botanic-Artístic Garden

The Botanical Garden-Art, created in 1946, is a National Monument. Small, nice and quiet are three characteristics that define it perfectly. There are several sculptures, like the one of Namorado Macias and another dedicated to Ernesto Rodriguez Gende. All this is surrounded by lots of plants such as the Carballo (one of the most popular trees in Galicia), Laurel and hawthorn. Visitors can also enjoy its beauty and tranquility and sit and rest on one of a number of sofas that are inside. In the winter months, this garden wins in beauty, as you gain an addition of melancholy that makes it even more attractive.
