Bordering Atuel River

The Atuel River rises through the Andes and through the provinces of La Pampa and Mendoza in the latter part in San Rafael. The name of the indigenous language means regret. The Atuel rises to 3500 meters above sea level, and is powered by a series of glacier tongues. River Basin ATUEL feeder, is a mountain range in front of 60 km. With the Glacier of Tears, and the highest peaks of the main cord, called The SOSNEADO which has a height of 5200 meters above sea level. ATUEL waters are exploited for agriculture and the supply of stocks, among which is the city of San Rafael, through different channels.
