Borbollón Reservoir

The Borbollón Reservoir is something of an oasis in the otherwise dry region of Extremadura. Extremadura has plenty of forests and green areas to explore, but sometimes you get the urge to hit the beach and well…this is actually a pretty nice substitute! There’s a marina and several other installations built so summer visitors can enjoy all kinds of watersports like paddleboats and sailing. And, of course, the marina has a lovely restaurant where you can get something to eat. It’s an ideal choice for a summer weekend when you need a place to beat the heat.
