Taste of sea and necessity
Bom Jesus Dos Pobres is 130 km from Salvador de Bahia, a town bathed by the sea and flavored with sugar cane, coffee and fresh fish. It was a stroke of luck to find this place. How much is learned from the unexpected! It's in the province of Saubara and although it has natural and human riches, the lack of interest in developing this area has condemned its inhabitants to poverty and neglect. The beaches are a haven of peace and good vibes, with a penetrating and relaxing light which is not easily forgotten. A refuge from the stress and noise of the city. What a pity there's nothing to curb the apathy in this beautiful place.
Now there is an NGO project underway to build a school that offers a social space for the community and children in the area. If the project succeeds workshops can be organized to train the inactive population and may improve the educational conditions of children in the area. A distant paradise that comes to my mind too often. I recommend it to everyone. Some of Brazil does not appear in the maps.
