Bodie Ghost Town

California, especially in the North, has lots of ghost towns, and the majority are from the earlier mining days. We would confidently say that the most shocking of the ghost towns is the town called Bodie. Today it has been converted into a state park, and visiting it takes us way back to older times. It has been excellently preserved, and not just for the city or cemetery, but also the mining itself. On many occasions a Sun of justice beats down on the city, making the visit a bit stifling. However, frequently, clouds appear, in addition to significantly improve the quality of photographs allows a more relaxed visit.

It has a small museum displaying artefacts from many of the city, including a hearse. Along the streets, observe the fire station, the saloon, hotel, sawmill, school, with desks and globes, the grocery store, the morgue ... In short, a whole city. Its a highly rewarding and entertaining, and always find curious characters in the streets, people around the world, professional photographers, descended from people who lived there. No doubt a show. Green Pea Project, a blog for the Five Senses 'https://www.guisanteverdeproject.com'

Ghost Town

This is one of those places where the experience is heightened by your imagination and research.

The mining town of Bodie had a population of thousands, reaching its zenith at the turn of the century. As the mine was depleted, the population slowly left, and by the mid 40's, only had a few inhabitants. The feeling of abandonment and failure is evident in this photograph, as only a few structures are left .

Ghost town

An incredible and well-preserved gold-mining town. It's seems like the people have just vanished. undefined undefined
