Bodhgaya Bodhi Tree

Nel pieno centro di Bodghaya, si trova questo antico albero sotto il quale si crede che l'insegnante Siddharta Gautama, successivamente riconosciuto come quarta reincarnazione di Buddha, ha ricevuto l'illuminazione. Questo è un luogo spirituale e qui si ritrovano ogni giorno centinaia di monaci e fedeli in meditazione. L'albero è conosciuto anche come Bo e Peepal Tree.
