Emerald Lake

La Blue Lagoon o Laguna Azul es uno de los puntos más visitados del Parque Nacional Marítimo de Ang Thong (en los mapas y folletos, Ang Thong National Maritime Park). Una vez allí a uno no le cabe duda de por qué: es preciosa. Llegarás a ella tras unos diez minutos de subir escaleras y más escaleras metálicas. Una vez arriba, podrás admirarla desde las alturas. Turquesa y encajonada entre las características rocas del parque natural, infinitamente serena. Ni siquiera el ruido de los turistas parece perturbarla. Lamentablemente para nosotros pero supongo que para alegría de la Blue Lagoon, uno no puede bañarse ni hacer kayak o tirolina en su interior. Tendrás la Blue Lagoon para ti solo si bajas hasta el último mirador, el que está casi tocando el agua, y dejas que se marchen los visitantes (que se cansan bastante rápido una vez se han hecho el selfie arriba). Ese momento de paz merece mucho la pena, no te lo pierdas.
