An amazing atmosphere
After spending over a week in Swedish Lapland, arriving in Stockholm was quiet a shock to the senses. And of course, the first thing we wanted to do was go for a good meal! The place we chose was called Blå Dörren, meaning blue door in Swedish. This is a typical Swedish restaurant, specialising in local dishes. The atmosphere was amazing, filled to the brim - luckily we had reserved in advance. We had one of the specialties of the house, the herring, to start, and they didn't let us down. For the main course I wanted some meat, needing some protein after the polar landscapes, and it was delicious.
