Bishop's Palace

The city became an episcopal branch in 1503 when the church of Santa Chiara became a cathedral. The bishop went to reside between churches. Gradually he came closer to being cast Cagliari, and it wasn't until 1763 that he received full autonomy with the return of Bishop and it required the construction of a building to house him.
