Biriatu Cemetery

The cemetery can be found in the urban centre of this small French Basque town of only some 1000 inhabitants. To access it, you have to go through the tunnel that sits below the church. It is in the countryside, with a huge white Christ, and stone benches that invite you to sit a while. Do not miss the old Basque tombstones similar to Etxalar (Navarra).
