Binic
Binic is a small coastal town in the region of Bretagne. Around the beautiful fishing bay are the fishermans quaint little grey houses. You can get here from Highway 11 if coming from Paris which is about a 4 hour drive, or you can fly from St Brieuc airport. Buses link Binic with the railway station in St Brieuc. Binic is renowned for the freshness of its seafood, particularly oysters, do not miss them, the best place to sample them is in one of the harbor restaurants! In Brittany, they say it rains a lot. We had very good weather, but the water was too cold for swimming. We stayed in a small hotel nearby, but the city center has much more charm.
In summer activity clubs for children are on the beach, and you can rent boats and bikes to take advantage of travelling the region. On the website of the tourist office are ideas for hiking.
