Restaurant with an open kitchen
After going to the Bermondsey Kitchen you realise how nice it is when a restaurant's kitchen is completely open to the public, and not hidden away in the back. Seeing the chef chats and white jackets in action, while pots are on the stove and sauces are cooking in pans, is a sign of honesty that leaves the guest much calmer. It's always nice to know who is cooking your food.
You can eat good food here, with an English interpretation we'll say. The hallmark of this restaurant are their sausages with gravy, the famous fish and chips, pork belly (slowly cooked and nice and crispy) and if prefer something simpler like a pasta, try their walnut pumpkin linguini.
