Belgrano Railway Terminal Station

La ESTACION TERMINAL del FERROCARIL BELGRANO, se encuentra situada en el Barrio de Retiro, en la cuadra siguiente a la del Ferrocarril Mitre, del que ha hablamos en el rincón pertinente. De todas las líneas ferroviarias argentinas es la que abarca el recorrido más extenso. Parte de su Estación Terminal Cabecera, denominada comúnmente RETIRO-BELGRANO Y se dirige al norte de la Argentina, recorriendo las provincias de Buenos Aires, Santa Fe, Córdoba, Mendoza,San Luis, San Juan, La Rioja, Catamarca, Tucumán, Chaco, Formosa, Salta y Jujuy. Cumple un rol económico muy importante porque permite transportar los productos que se producen en estos lugares hasta los centros de consumo y puertos. En la actualidad está operada por la empresa FERROVIAS, desde el año 1994. El Ramal Belgrano Norte , desde el año 2007,tiene un total de 22 estaciones, atravesando los Partidos de Vicente Lopez, San Isidro, Tigre, Malvinas Argentinas y Pilar. Su recorrido urbano y suburbano no es tan extenso como el de sus trenes de larga distancia y especialmente de carga. Si estás en Buenos Aires y querés conocer el TREN DE LA COSTA, podés tomar en la estación RETIRO-BELGRANO el tren que termina en la Estación BELGRANO-MITRE. No te equivocarás pues el ramal termina allí. Y desde esta estación por dentro tendrás conexión con la estación de comienzo del TREN de la COSTA, que te dejará exactamente en la ESTACIÓN TIGRE ,del Tren de la Costa y no tendrás que caminar como ocurriria si llegaras a Tigre por intermedio del Ferrocarril Mitre.
