A bubbling capital!
Beirut is the capital of Lebanon and a city with many faces, each more interesting than the one before. The local nightlife is one of the most active in the Middle East, and there are 18 religions practiced in the country, so of course there's a huge number of religious buildings: the prayer rooms of orthodox churches, Catholic churches, mosques, Druze ... there are some very interesting cultural centres that periodically host exhibitions.
