Tapas and Wine
We arrived at lunch time to the capital of La Rioja, so we decided to go into one of the most famous streets of tapas bars and restaurants.
The choice for this place was random. We saw it had a shadow, that we could sit on the street and the tapas looked good. But, why is it named Beethoven? Well, the founder happens to share his birthday with the brilliant composer ;-)
They offer an interesting selection of dishes from La Rioja, with some delicious Rioja wine to go with it.
The restaurant looks very good, nicely decorated with elements of another time and an area with barrels used as tables for tapas.
It was a good way to start the visit of this interesting Rioja city, cradle of many of the most famous wines in Spain.
