Beaches of the Coastal South of Pernambuco

Pernambuco has some amazing beaches. In Tupi Indian language, Pernambuco means "where the sea bursts." It´s a small state located in the Northeast Brazilian region, north of Bahia and south of Natal. It´s a holiday destination that is very appreciated by the Spanish. The southern coast of Pernambuco is a succession of beaches - most of which are empty. The main tourist spot, the beach of ¨porto de Galinhas¨ is located 55 kilometers south of the state capital, Recife. From the town of Porto, there´s a series of incredibly beautiful beaches which include Maracaipe, Serrambi, Toquinho, Guadalupe and, especially beautiful, "Carneiros" which is the most impressive of all.
