Coline
A walk through history
Bastion de la Hollande, in the west of the city, is one of the main buildings to see during the visit of the ramparts of Saint Malo. It was built in 1674 to protect the city from attack, and suffered several reforms over the years, but still stands proudly overlooking the city and the sea. It offers stunning views of the Bay of Saint Malo, Gran Bé Bé and small Bé. You can also watch the waves and seagulls, it's a very pleasant stroll through history.
