Located only 800 meters from Stirling Castle, which during the Victorian era was one of the finest centers of secondary education studies in the area, you can find the best hotel in town, with four stars and super-luxurious, from the Spanish chain,Barcelo, the Stirling Highland Hotel. Packed with luxury and a superb location in the city, personally I find the name quite shocking, and the insistence from their website that Stirling is the gateway to the Highlands, when this privilege belongs to the city of Perth ... However we'll take it as poetic license. The luxuries have to be paid, but on some occasions it's worth it ...
Here you can find everything you could want: a swimming pool, jacuzzi, gym, an excellent bar and luxurious restaurant which is standard in a hotel like this. Externally and architecturally it's wonderful, with the central tower constructed in blocks of dark stone and certainly could remind people of the typical image of an orphanage or boarding school. If we're walking through the city, we have some money and we want to treat ourselves, this is the corner of the city where we should find ourselves.
