Bar for the old

I am a great lover of the so-called bars for the old. I like their atmosphere and prices, and in this locale those two conditions are met.

When I moved to Salamanca, my friend Refo told me that the best “pinchos morunos” (marinated pork kebab) in Salamanca were here. The truth is that when I first entered I was rather shocked by the atmosphere... A lot of bullfighting, a scene straight out of the seventies for its decoration.

I thought to myself "you have to die somehow" and I ordered a pincho moruno ... And boy did I die ... But I died from the taste.

Since then I’ve been about twenty times to Bar Su Casa.

The pinchos are really cheap, with prices belonging almost to the last century, and the bocadiilos (filled roll) for me are definitely a strong point. They make tortilla (Spanish omelette) bocadillos for one euro that are the greatest, and do not deserve to be made even at home. Remember to ask for them without peppers because if not they charge 1.50 per slice. If you're not afraid to go to bars for the old and want to eat well, this is your place.
