Bar Restaurant la Tertulia, Zafra
A couple of Sundays ago, my husband, myself and some friends were visiting Zafra. We happened upon a lovely square (the Plaza Chica), full of terraces, but without really knowing what we were looking for. It was February and we sat at the first table we saw free for a beer. Even though we had only ordered drinks, they brought an appetizer (potatoes cooked with marinated tuna) which gave us a clue that this could be a good place to eat so we read the menu which convinced us! We ordered artichokes with almond sauce (delicious), chicken salad and red cabbage, Extremadura stew, chickpeas, meat and broth and a skillet of chorizo with eggs.
