Local sports bar
The "Die Berliner Republik" is a sports-bar: Local, big, spacious, with large tables and several TV screens which show all kinds of sports channels continuously. Located on the banks of the river Spree, it also has a large terrace where you can enjoy beautiful views of the Mitte district. Anyway, it still has an air of a German tavern. Their beer list is certainly spectacular, as they offer more than 20 varieties. Its main uniqueness is that the price of drinks varies depending on customer demand, as if it were a stock market! Another strength of "Die Berliner Republik" is they serve traditional game dishes, grilled meat, currywurst, meat rolls wrapped in cabbage (Kohlroulade), knuckle or escalope Viennese sausages Bratwurst, "Stolzer Heinrich" and "Flammkuchen" among others.
