Cantada II

Cantada II est un bar-rock et un des rares à servir de la véritable absinthe en France. La fameuse Fée Verte se déguste dans un grand verre à pied, après être passée dans un distillateur et une cuillère percée, selon la méthode traditionnelle. Tout en dégustant cette boisson au goût d'anis, on peut assister à un concert ou à un spectacle burlesque dans le style des cabarets du XIXème siècle. C'est un lieu assez étrange mais vraiment sympathique, avec une décoration atypique faite de squelettes et où l'on peut croiser des gens vêtus d'habits tous droits sortis du siècle dernier. Pour y accéder, il suffit de descendre au métro Ménilmontant ou Parmentier, dans le 11ème arrondissement. Le bar est ouvert du lundi au samedi, de 18h à 1h30 en semaine et jusqu'à 4h le week-end.

The famous Green Fairy is served in a large goblet, after passing through a distiller and a slotted spoon, according to the traditional method. While enjoying this beverage taste of anise, you can attend a concert or a burlesque show in the cabaret style of the nineteenth century. This is a strange but really nice place, with a unique design made of skeletons and where you can meet people all dressed in clothes straight out of the last century. To access it, simply go to or Ménilmontant Parmentier metro, in the 11th arrondissement. The bar is open Monday to Saturday from 18h to 1:30 on weekdays and until 4 am on weekends.
