Bang Saphan Yai

Situato sulla costa occidentale del golfo di Thailandia, un centinaio di chilometri a nord di Chumpone, questo piccolo centro fuori dalle rotte classiche del turismo internazionale, è un paradiso nascosto per i thailandesi ed i pensionati in cerca di tranquillità. Lungo la costa poco a sud, numerosi resort di medio-alta qualità offrono un bungalow privato per 300-500 baht e, per chi ha voglia, poco al largo si possono esplorare i fondali dell'isola di Ko Thalu. La cittadina non presenta grandi attrattive ma offre la possibilità di acquistare generi alimentari se si vuole affittare una casetta in zona.

Located on the west coast of the Gulf of Thailand, about a hundred kilometers north of Chumpone, this small town outside of the classic routes of international tourism, is a hidden paradise for Thais and retirees in search of tranquility. Along the coast just south, a number of medium-high quality resort offers a private bungalow for 300-500 baht, and for those who want, just off you can explore the depths of the island of Ko Thalu. The town does not have great attractions but offers the opportunity to buy groceries if you want to rent a house in the area.
