MUSEO DEL BANDOLERO, UNICO EN SU TEMÁTICA
El Museo del Bandolero abrió sus puertas el siete de mayo de 1995 en pleno corazón de la histórica ciudad de Ronda (Málaga), constituyendo una iniciativa privada que viene a cubrir el vacío existente sobre un fenómeno tan mitificado como es el del Bandolerismo.
Se encuentra albergado en el casco histórico de Ronda, en una casa típica que consta con más de 100 años de antigüedad. Esto ayuda a crear una atmósfera en la que seremos un personaje más de la historia de la ciudad.
No hubiera sido posible reunir toda esta colección de no ser por la investigación en distintos ayuntamientos, iglesias, y propiedades particulares llevada a cabo por los miembros del Museo del Bandolero.
Nuestro Museo esta considerado como el centro de mayor información sobre esta temática. Dentro de su instalaciones cuenta con 1.390 objetos entre libros, armas, documentos, vestuario, grabados, litografías, sellos oficiales, prensa de la época, romanceros, fotografías, barros Malagueños, óleos, acuarelas, cómic, cromos, películas, escenificaciones etc. Una gran labor de recopilación que sin duda ha sido fruto un largo periodo de investigación por todo el territorio Nacional.
Testimonios originales relacionados con el bandolerismo en Andalucía y otros puntos de España, fundamentalmente constituidos por documentación histórica administrativa (Cédulas, Reales Decretos, Partidas de bautismo, matrimonio y defunción, asientos de sepultura, órdenes de busca y captura, etc.), fotografía histórica, testimonios orales, un abundante patrimonio bibliográfico y gráfico, restos materiales de un género de vida de corte popular, o visiones gráficas y literarias de la multitud de testimonios que nos ofrecieron los viajeros románticos que recorrieron España (Ford, Borrow, Merimée, Gauthier, Roberts, Doré, etc.) constituyendo una imagen de España que aún se arrastra como identificación del tipismo pintoresco de nuestro pueblo, nuestras gentes, y nuestro modo de vida.
Todo ello se lleva a cabo mediante una presentación temática, amena y asequible a todos los públicos, que de forma permanente se oferta en su contexto territorial, en la Serranía de Ronda. La unión de estos temas ha dado lugar a una mitología popular, a la creación de héroes de lo cercano, de historias contadas y compartidas. Este corpus se ha convertido en leyendas interpretado por miradas que han oscilado, desde el contrabandista, el ladrón o el salteador de caminos hasta el mito del buen ladrón, el galán o el guerrillero, el hombre valiente por excelencia. Miradas que han proyectado, lecturas sombrías, novelas románticas, miradas de cine, galanes de moda, cuentos de ahora. Todos estos textos se hilvanan, en una sola idea, formando en nuestra retina la realidad y la ficción del bandolero y su época.
Bandolero Museum opened its doors on May 7, 1995 in the heart of the city histrica Ronda (Mlaga), constituting a private initiative that comes to fill the existing void on a phenomenon so mythologized as is the Bandit. It is housed in the historic town of Ronda, in a house consisting tpica with over 100 years of antiquity. This helps create an atmosphere in which we will be a character more than the history of the city. It would not have been possible to gather all this collection but for the research in different municipalities, churches, and private property held by members of the Museo del Bandolero. Our Museum is considered the center more information on this Thematic.
