Ban Pang Tong Lake

Questo limpido specchio d'acqua è situato subito dietro il villaggio di Pang Tong dove si può gustare il caffè appena tostato. Sulle sue rive c'è una breve camminata che si insinua nella foresta (forse un loop?) e sul lato sinistro, oltre il ruscello che lascia le placide acque del bacino, dei cavalli pascolano soddisfatti. Seguendo il lungolago destro si incontra una pineta dove è possibile e consigliato il campeggio perché il luogo è veramente incredibile. In paese si possono noleggiare delle bici.

This clear lake is located just beyond the village of Pang Tong where you can enjoy freshly roasted coffee. On its banks there is a short hike that creeps in the forest (maybe a loop?) And on the left side, over the stream that leaves the placid waters of the basin, the horses graze satisfied. Right along the lake you come across a pine forest where it is possible and recommended the camp because the place is really incredible. In the village you can rent a bike.

Il lago e il bosco sono sicuramente molto belli, direi quasi "alpini". Il villaggio invece mi è sembrato fintissimo, non mi è piaciuto per niente, troppi souvenir in vendita per un posto cosi' piccolo. Anche le capanne sembravano costruite apposta per essere fotografate dai turisti. Molto meglio il villaggio cinese sul confine, ma anche quelli sulla strada.

The lake and the woods are certainly very beautiful, almost "alpine". The village fintissimo instead it seemed to me, I did not like at all, too many souvenirs on sale for a place like this' small. Even the huts seemed purpose-built to be photographed by tourists. Much better than the Chinese village on the border, but also those on the road.
