Paradise is closer than we imagine
On a quiet May Day eve, as the sun was setting, the clouds rumbled together for a perfect storm, in sharp contrast to the industrial smog thickening the air. Walking on the promenade along the harbor, the beauty of a city marred with the imagine of danger was apparent. Baltimore, often best known for its crime scene and abandoned homes - resulting from a viscous cycle of poverty - rather than its historical significance and as the residence of the late writer Edgar Allen Pore, is its own paradise. Often times paradise is closer than we imagine.
