Balima Hotel
The hotel is situated in the prestigious Balima Avenue Mohamed V, a five minute walk from the railway station of the city. If you have no luggage there is no need to take a taxi to the hotel, despite what taxi drivers will tell you. Everybody knows its grand façade with its name on it. This hotel has been open for more than 70 years. There are 65 rooms and 6 suites, all with private bath, some with shower only, but no central heating. The tower dominates the neighborhood and offer very good views. The rooms have modern decor, with a little oriental touch, which is quite charming for a hotel of this size.
The rooms each have a TV and a desk and offers typical Western comfort. Though the hotel has a bar and a restaurant, I recommend you try the little restaurants around the neighborhood. The historic center is a five minute walk away. A double room costs between 60 and 70 Euros per night.
