Bakewell
I have stayed in the city of Sheffield a number of times and have also spent time in the northern county of Derbyshire in the famous Peak District and, in particular, in the town of Bakewell. It has a beautiful little church (All Saints Church) of Norman origin (XI century) from the time of William the Conqueror. The village itself is charming, with traditional low houses, lots of green space and it is crossed by the River Wye, along which you can take a lovely stroll. The homemade ice cream and the fudge is very famous, but the cake or pudding which bears the same name as the place (The Bakewell Tart) is world renowned.
