Bajoi Hotel-Restaurante

Nos alojamos en Roha (Distrito de Nagaon), varias semanas. Desde Roha visitamos la ciudad de Guwahati, a unos 100km. al oeste. Una ciudad de casi 1 millón de habitantes y el centro comercial más importante del nor-oriente de la India. A unos 30km al este de Guwahati siempre parábamos en este restaurante, al lado de la carretera. Daban buen servicio, tenían mesas fuera y dentro y hacían un "thali" riquísimo. Los "thali" son bandejas con diferentes cuencos de comida que te van llenando conforme te los acabas. Los camareros sólo dejan de rellenar los cuencos cuando tu les dices basta. Este enorme "thali" de la fotografía, con 6 cuencos y corteza frita, sólo cuesta 100 rupias (1´25€) y se le conoce como "veg thali". También nos comimos un "rollo vegetariano" por 80 rupias (1€), aquí aderezado con una tortilla francesa por dentro...

We stayed in Roha (Nagaon District), several weeks. From Roha we visit the city of Guwahati, about 100km away. to West. A city of almost 1 million inhabitants and the most important commercial center in the north-east of India. About 30km east of Guwahati we always stopped at this restaurant, next to the road. They gave good service, they had tables outside and inside and they made a delicious "thali". The "thali" are trays with different bowls of food that fill you up as you finish them. The waiters only stop filling the bowls when you tell them enough. This huge "thali" of photography, with 6 bowls and fried crust, costs only 100 rupees (€ 1.25) and is known as "veg thali".
