Bajo de Guía Beach

In the municipality of Sanlucar de Barrameda is Bajo de Guía beach, half a mile in length. During August traditional beach horse races are celebrated. From here you can see across the Guadalquivir the Coto de Doñana and people and vehicles can cross in a small boat. A few years ago, as in almost all Spanish beaches, the bars were in the middle of the beach, but now they have moved into buildings that border the beach and they serve excellent fish.
